Pon Jung Ho was able to repeat Walt Disney's record at Oscar

South Korean director Pon Joon Ho, having won four awards at the award ceremony Oscar 2020, was able to repeat Walt Disney's record. On February 10, the portal Screen Rant drew attention to this. The publication notes that the four awards that the film Parasites received, of course, are not in themselves record, because earlier on 11 Oscar received Ben-Gur, Titanic and Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. However, Poon Jung Ho was not only the director of Parasites, when creating the painting he also acted as one of the writers and producers of the project. This means that the filmmaker personally received four Oscar for one award ceremony, which before him was able to carry out only Walt Disney. At the same time, it is worth noting that in 1954, during the 26th Academy Awards, Disney received four awards not for one painting, but for four: Living Desert (Best Documentary), Alaska Eskimos (Best Short Documentary), Goodeniya, Whistle, Ringing and Gull (Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom; Best Short Cartoon) and Bear Country (Best Game Short Film).
