South Korea recorded growth of computer equipment exports
Due to the spread of coronavirus around the world, computer equipment was included in South Korea's list of ten main exports. This is reported by KBS with reference to the data of the Korean International Trade Association (KITA). According to published data, from January to March exports of goods from South Korea amounted to $130.8 billion, of which 54.9% came from ten main exports. It is known that 17.8% was for semiconductors, 6.9% cars, 6.8% petroleum products, 4.3% spare parts and parts for ships, 4.2% auto parts. However, demand for these goods continues to fall due to low demand caused by the spread of coronavirus. On the other hand, the share of computer products in total exports increased to 2.4% ($3.17 billion), which returned this type of goods to the top ten exports, from which it was displaced in 2019. It is noted that the category of computer equipment includes computers, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners and related components.
