Israel extended the deadline for tracking phones
The Commission of the Israeli Knesset extended the term of the intelligence service Shabak to track the phones of citizens, on May 5 reports Reuters. Phone tracking, introduced because of the coronavirus epidemic, will last three more weeks in Israel. The measure is provided by Shabak, as the official voluntary tracking app downloaded just 1.5 million of Israel's 9 million citizens. Despite the privacy concerns, there is currently no other tool, Israel's Knesset MP and ex-justice minister Ayelet Shaked told reporters. Read also:
