Residents of Italy have not yet been able to find medical masks worth 50 euro cents per unit in pharmacies, reports Il Fatto Quotidiano on Thursday, May 7. Previously, the Government had set exactly such a maximum price for masks. Manufacturers responded by reporting that even excluding logistical costs, the cost of masks is higher. At the same time, the government promised pharmacists to compensate the difference between the purchase value of the masks already purchased by them and the mentioned 50 Eurocents.
