Five settlements in Ukraine remain flooded

Five settlements remain flooded due to the flood that occurred in the western regions of Ukraine. This was announced on July 6 by the press service of the Ukrainian civil service for emergency situations. As of 07:00 (coincides with Moscow time) on July 6, five settlements in the Chernivtsi region remain flooded in the western regions; 14 basements of 47 household plots, the report said. It is also indicated that due to the flood, 202.5 km of roads with 95 bridges were destroyed and that another 549 km of roads and 213 bridges were damaged for the same reason. In addition, it is indicated that 167 people and 22 pieces of equipment were involved in the rescue work during the flood. Note, as reported by the news agency, on July 3, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal said that overcoming the consequences of the flood in Western Ukraine would require an additional 2 billion hryvnias or $73.5 million.
