Children in a hospice in Japan created the shoes of their dreams
In Japan, children suffering from incurable diseases in a hospice in the city of Yokohama created models of their dreams shoes. This was reported on September 26 by the Mainichi newspaper. Journalists note that according to these sketches, in 2 months real shoes will be sewn and presented to children. The event was organized by the pharmaceutical company Roche Diagnostics as part of an annual charity event. In total, seven children from the first to third grade of elementary school took part in the project. The children assembled shoes from different elements developed by the designers, and then painted the layouts using 24 color handles. To prevent the spread of coronavirus, children engaged in crafts in their classrooms or in hospital beds, and company employees watched their work through the Internet. According to the organizers, this lesson helped children relieve stress.
