Tehran to host first trade exhibition of EAEU

On September 19, the executive director of the International Exhibition Company of Iran announced that the Iranian capital would host the first exhibition of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) by the end of the year. This was reported by the Iranian agency IRNA. The EAEU exhibition will be held in order to present the export and production capacities of Iran, the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade quotes Bahman Hosseinzade. The exhibition is also aimed at increasing the volume of trade exchanges and developing economic cooperation with the countries of the EAEU members, he said. Further, Hosseinzade emphasized that the EAEU member states should take an active part in the International Exhibition in Tehran. As the official noted, holding an exhibition of this level can prepare the ground for further joint cooperation between states. He also described the EAEU exhibition as a wide opportunity to combine efforts to familiarize member states with Iran's trade and industrial potential.
